Speech Therapist for K-12, classical charter school

 

The successful teacher engages and motivates towards success; possesses a considerable depth of knowledge of the curriculum; demonstrates effective teaching strategies; facilitates student learning; has counseling and facilitation skills; thrives on challenge, autonomy and accountability.  He or she possesses excellent organizational and time management skills; possesses good record keeping skills; is able to work effectively with special student populations; is creative and resourceful; possesses sufficient computer skills; works effectively in the complex operation of a K-12 school. The teacher ultimately reports to the headmaster, but directly reports to the lower school director or the upper school director, depending upon the school division in which he/she works. Furthermore, this individual understands and supports the classical tradition as expressed by the philosophy, mission, vision, and goals upon which the Academy is founded and is committed to the pursuit of knowable, objective truth, goodness, and beauty.

 

Qualifications also include relevant college degree(s), the necessary certification requirements, as well as a valid driver’s license and transportation.
